Match Report
Sutton High School Girls-U10B vs  St Christopher's The Hall
On: Friday, 16 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

Results: Won 2 and Lost 2

A tough first match as Sutton High took their time to warm-up for the game against Royal Russell with a loss of 4-0.

Second match v St Davids Sutton were quick to take advantage of winning the toss to have first centre. It wasn't long before Sutton took the lead. Sutton continued to grow in confidence scoring again to maintain their lead. A couple of forced errors saw St Davids score. But the defence with special mention to Hafsa ensure no further goals were conceded.

Third match after winning the toss saw Sutton take the lead against Blackheath High. A possible second goal was scored only to be disallowed due to a footwork error - most unfortunate.

The final group match saw the team really up their game against St Christopher's. It was real end to end and evenly matched game. A frustrating match as the ball travelled up and down the court. However, a string of successful passes by St Christopher's saw a goal scored. Sutton looked like they would come back defending well to intercept the ball. The last goal just before the bell went in St Christopher's favour to win 2-0.

Overall on points and goals Sutton finished 3rd in their group but 5th out of 11 teams on points.

An encouraging performance by all of the team.
